Miyu Yamashita

Yamashita is a Japanese professional golfer and one-time Olympian. She was born in Neyagawa, Osaka in 2001 and started playing golf when she was five years old. She turned professional and joined the LPGA of Japan Tour (JLPGA) in 2020. She earned 13 wins including three major championships between April 2021 and November 2024 on the JLPGA.

She made 12 starts on the LPGA Tour prior to earning Membership, including a runner-up finish at the 2024 KPMG Women’s PGA Championship. Yamashita earned medalist honors at the Final Qualifying portion of LPGA Q-Series to earn LPGA Membership for the 2025 season.

As of the 2025 season, she has made seven cuts in nine starts with three top 10 finishes.
