In December 2018, the announcement was made to move the PGA of America headquarters from Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, to Frisco, Texas. In addition to the headquarters and the two championship courses, the facility will also include a short course and practice areas. Gil Hanse designed the East Course, while Beau Welling led the design for the West Course. 

These championship courses will be the anchors of PGA Frisco, which will offer the best coaching, player development and education for PGA Golf Professionals, as well as play on both recreational and championship courses, alongside a magnificent Omni resort and interactive consumer golf experience.

Hazeltine National Golf Club
Founded in 1962, the Hazeltine National Golf Club was designed to host national championships. The course features beautifully landscaped fairways bordered with majestic woods and water features that lead to the illustrious greens. Hazeltine's Championship Course was designed by Robert Trent Jones and modified by his son, Rees Jones.

Recognized throughout the world as a monumental test of golf, Hazeltine is one of a few golf clubs in the country to have hosted every premier championship offered by the USGA and PGA of America. Hazeltine is the only club in the country selected to host the Ryder Cup for a second time.

Founded in 1924 by the likes of U.S. Presidents Coolidge, Harding, Hoover, Taft, and Wilson, Congressional was originally established to provide an informal common ground where politicians and peers could meet. Its international recognition has also been achieved in the world of golf.

The Club’s championship Blue Course has already hosted three U.S. Opens and a PGA Championship. Extensively renovated by Andrew Green in 2020-21, the Blue Course looks forward to hosting eight upcoming PGA of America events, including two National Championships, 5 Major Championships and the 2037 Ryder Cup.
