One of the Women’s oldest majors comes to the Atlanta area for the first time at the Atlanta Athletic Club, June 22-27, 2021. Before you head to the course, read up on all that you need to know to make the most of your day at the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship! And while on site, be sure to access Championship Quick Resources.

GENERAL INFORMATION

Our Commitment to Health

While the excitement of major championship golf and the beauty of Atlanta Athletic Club will remain, many aspects of the spectator experience will be adapted. We encourage everyone to closely review the following policies and procedures before heading to Atlanta Athletic Club this June.

VIEW ALL POLICIES

Admission Policy

There will be no daily readmission to the grounds of Atlanta Athletic Club. If you leave the grounds, you must have an unscanned ticket to return to the Championship. Once your ticket has been scanned, it will no longer provide admission. The only exception is when the Weather Warning signs have been posted. Security personnel will not allow admission to the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship for individuals without appropriate credentials. Junior Admission Policy

As part of the PGA of America’s mission to grow interest and participation in the game of golf we offer free admission for juniors 17 and younger when accompanied by a ticketed adult. Junior tickets are available onsite at the Admission Sales & Will Call Office at Championship main entrance on day of admission. No registration is necessary. Junior tickets cannot be obtained in advance. Junior tickets do not provide access to private hospitality areas or clubhouse. 

Military Admission Policy

To honor the men and women who serve our country in the Armed Forces, the Championship is pleased to offer Active Duty, Retirees, Veterans, Reserve, National Guard and their accompanying guest (limit one) complimentary daily grounds access to the Championship. Please visit HERE to register for complimentary military tickets. Please note, these tickets cannot be upgraded to alternative venues, but are eligible for the junior admission policy.

Photo & Autograph Policy

Cameras are only allowed on-site at Atlanta Athletic Club during Practice Rounds, Tuesday and Wednesday, and are not permitted on-site during Championship Rounds, Thursday through Sunday.  All direct player-spectator interaction is prohibited. For the health and well-being of everyone on-site, no handshakes, fist bumps, or autographs will be permitted and all spectators and volunteers are asked to maintain social distancing between themselves and players/caddies. Please consult the Mobile Device Policy for guidelines regarding mobile device photo, audio, and video capturing while on-site.

Mobile Device Policy

Mobile devices must be kept in Golf Mode Setting at all times at the 67th KPMG Women’s PGA Championship.

  • Set your device to silent or vibrate, including but not limited to, ringer, notifications, and alerts.
  • Camera flash turned off.
  • Incoming and outgoing calls may only be made or received farther than 100 yards away from competition.
  • Text, email, social posting and other data use is allowed on the golf course at any location providing players are not in position and about to play their shots.
  • Mobile device photography, as well as audio and video capturing, is allowed in all areas during Practice Rounds (Tuesday & Wednesday).
  • During Championship Rounds (Thursday-Sunday), photography, audio and video recording is prohibited anywhere within 100 yards of competition or when requested by players, caddies, marshals, volunteers, security or Championship staff and officials.

Here are a few items we recommend you bring from home to enhance your Championship experience:

  • CDC approved face coverings
  • Personal hand sanitizer (travel size)
  • Portable, canvas chair with a carry bag (no grandstands will be constructed for health and wellness purposes)
  • Personal sunscreen
  • Portable phone charger

Inclement Weather

Please observe the Leader Boards for the Weather Warning signs which will appear when inclement weather is approaching the 67th KPMG Women’s PGA Championship site. When the signs appear, spectators are advised to take precautions and seek shelter PRIOR to play being suspended. If the sirens sound, seek shelter immediately.

In the event of inclement weather, please remember to avoid the following:

  • Metal Fences
  • Telephone Poles 
  • Open Fields
  • Golf Carts 
  • Hilltops and High Places
  • Bodies of Water 
  • Tall and/or Isolated Trees

First Aid Station

First Aid station staffed by Emory Johns Creek medical professionals will be located adjacent to the PGA Shops and the 1st & 10th tees.

Disability Services

Conduct Customs and Etiquette

Attendees are requested to display traditional customs of etiquette, decorum, and behavior, and to obey all Championship policies including, but not limited to, those provided on each ticket, all posted signs, and any instructions of Championship Marshals and Officials. Inappropriate behaviors and/or failure to comply with standards/policies may lead to ejection from the Championship and/or cancellation of admission tickets, without refund. All spectators and volunteers are also encouraged to review the Championship’s commitment to health, here

  • Although cheering and positive gallery responses to great play are encouraged, unsolicited and consistent calls from the gallery toward players and others are prohibited.
  • For the safety of everyone and in keeping with policy established at major sporting events, running is considered to be unacceptable behavior.
  • Please stay behind the gallery ropes and cooperate with instructions given by Championship Marshals.
  • Please kneel or sit if you are in the front row and remain still throughout each shot.
  • Anyone acting in a manner that is deemed to be abusive, derogatory, rude, or aggressive may be subject to removal from the Championship premises and may be prohibited from returning to the 67th KPMG Women’s PGA Championship or attending any future PGA Championship event.

Trophy Presentation

The Trophy Presentation Ceremony will take place on the 18th Green immediately following the end of play on Sunday, June 27. In the event of a tie for first place after 72 holes, a hole-by-hole play-off will take place until the tie is broken. The hole-by-hole play-off will begin on Hole 18, and if still tied, move to 17 and 18 repeated. The Trophy Presentation Ceremony will occur immediately following the play-off.

PARKING

Championship Parking (Lot GP)

PGA Public Parking will be complimentary and located across from Atlanta Athletic Club. 1930 Bobby Jones Drive, Johns Creek, GA 30097. Lot GP can be accessed via Medlock Bridge Road.

There will be no overnight parking in any Championship Parking Lots, and any vehicles left overnight will be towed at the owner’s expense. PGA Tournament Corporation is not responsible for damage to your vehicle, or items lost or stolen from your vehicle.

Rideshare (Lot GP)

Spectators electing to utilize UBER, Lyft, and/or other rideshare services must be picked up and dropped off at the PGA Championship’s Official Rideshare lot  located across from Atlanta Athletic Club. 1930 Bobby Jones Drive, Johns Creek, GA 30097. Lot GP can be accessed via Medlock Bridge Road.

Accessible Parking

Designated accessible parking for those requiring accommodation will be reserved in the front rows of the general public parking lot located in Lot GP in the Heisman Field across from Atlanta Athletic Club. Upon arrival at the parking lot, please have your physically challenged hang tag clearly visible and follow the parking staff's directions to the designated spaces. Wheelchairs will not be available for rent, but spectators may bring wheelchairs with them to the 67th KPMG Women's PGA Championship. Wheelchair-accessible viewing areas will be located at the 1st Tee, 9th Green, 18th Green and Practice Range.

Traffic Notice - Security & Checkpoints

Security-controlled gates will be in service during Championship Week monitoring traffic onto and throughout Atlanta Athletic Club. Proper credentials and passes will be required to gain access into Atlanta Athletic Club beyond the security gate. 

Recommend Travel Routes

  • Traffic traveling northbound from downtown Atlanta to Atlanta Athletic Club use I-85 N. Take exit 251B onto I-285 W toward Chattanooga then take exit 31B to GA-141 N. Continue straight and follow signage for WPGA Parking Lots.
  • Traffic traveling southbound from areas north of Atlanta Athletic Club use GA-400 S. Take exit 13 to turn left onto GA-141 S. Continue straight and follow signage to WPGA Parking Lots.
  • Traffic traveling eastbound or westbound to Atlanta Athletic Club use State Bridge Road. Turn onto Medlock Bridge Road/GA-141 S and follow signage to WPGA Parking Lots.

This 150’ timeline will lead spectators through key dates in history, where inspiring women have paved the way for future women golfers and women in business through their groundbreaking accomplishments. The KPMG Women’s PGA Championship and KPMG Women’s Leadership Summit will once again ‘break glass ceilings’ and serve as catalysts to empower women on and off the golf course. This timeline gives spectators the opportunity to take a moment to honor those who have inspired today’s leaders.

When the red “Play Suspended” sign appears and air horns sound, play is suspended and spectators must seek shelter immediately. A. Here are some tips to prepare for your day:

  • Drink plenty of fluids to avoid dehydration
  • Wear a hat for protection from the sun and be sure to use sunscreen
  • Please leave all prohibited items, including **all backpacks** and any bags larger than 10” x 10” x 10”, at home or in your vehicle, as they are not permitted on course or stored at the 2021 KPMG Women’s PGA Championship
Q. Can I bring promotional signs or banners to the 2021 KPMG Women's PGA Championship?

A. Banners, posters, or signs are not permitted on grounds. Any materials with unauthorized advertising or promotion should be left at home or outside the main gates.

Q. What other items should not be brought to the event?

A. Any item is subject to be deemed inappropriate or dangerous by KPMG Women’s PGA Championship security at their discretion.

Q. What if myself or someone near me needs medical help during the event?

A. Locate the closest championship staff or marshal to have them radio in for assistance.
