In the event of a tie for the KPMG Women's PGA Championship after 72 holes, there will be a hole-by-hole play-off starting on No. 18 and, if needed, on to hole Nos. 18, 10 and 17 repeated until a Champion is determined.
All participants will play in the same group for the entirety of the playoff.
The last playoff at the KPMG Women's PGA Championship was 10 years ago at Sahalee Country Club in Washington between Brooke Henderson and Lydia Ko.
Henderson defeated then World No. 1 Lydia Ko on the first hole of a hole-by-hole playoff.
After both players found the fairway on the 18th hole, Lydia Ko left herself a 20-foot putt after a solid approach.
Brooke Henderson answered with a spectacular seven-iron from 155 yards, leaving just 3 feet for birdie. Ko missed her birdie attempt to the left and Henderson calmly stepped up and rolled in her three-foot birdie putt to capture the victory.
Some wins last forever. 🤍

In 2016, @BrookeHenderson won the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship at Sahalee.
Today, her sister and caddie, Brittany, welcomed a baby girl — and named her after that very win.#KPMGWomensPGA pic.twitter.com/YYJ3Ofy26G
