2023 KPMG Women's PGA Champion
Yin is a Chinese professional golfer competing on the LPGA Tour. She turned professional in 2020 and began her career on the China LPGA Tour (CLPGA). She recorded six top-10 finishes and won her first three events in a row during the 2020 CLPGA season, a record for the tour.
She rose to number one in the Women’s World Golf Rankings in September 2023 following a breakout season that included nine top-10 finishes and victories at the DIO Implant LA Open and her first major title at the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship.
In 2024, Yin made 18 cuts in 20 starts and captured three LPGA titles at the Dow Championship, Buick LPGA Shanghai and Maybank Championship along with four additional top-10 finishes. She also represented the People’s Republic of China at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games.
As of the 2025 season, she has made every cut and posted three top-five finishes.
