Shin is a South Korean professional golfer who turned professional in 2010. She earned her LPGA Tour card for the 2011 season by winning the International at Concord on the Futures Tour and finishing fourth on the money list.
As an amateur, Shin won the 2006 U.S. Girls’ Junior Championship, was a three-time AJGA First-Team All-American, claimed the 2009 AJGA Heather Farr Classic title and competed in the 2008 U.S. Women’s Open.
Her first LPGA Tour win came in 2016 at the Volunteers of America Texas Shootout. In 2024, she made 20 cuts in 24 starts and had three top-10 finishes. As of the 2025 season, she has one top-10 finish and made seven cuts in nine starts.
