Chun has won four times on the LPGA Tour, with three of them being major championships: the 2015 U.S. Women's Open, the 2016 Evian Championship, and the '22 KPMG Women's PGA Championship. She nearly became a Grand Slam member in the 2022 AIG Women's Open, where she lost in a playoff to Ashleigh Buhai. Chun's best finish in 2025 happened in a major, a T-18 in the Chevron Championship in late April.
Her best finish in 2026 was a 5th place finish at the Ford Championship presented by Wild Horse Pass.
After Chun's win at the 2015 U.S. women’s open at Lancaster Country Club, she now upholds the “In Gee Chun Lancaster Country Club Educational Foundation” and makes generous contributions each year to give back to the community by providing scholarships for students seeking to achieve their education and vocational goals.
Chun was the 2016 Louise Suggs Rolex Rookie of the Year.
