Bio
Shibuno is a Japanese professional golfer who began her pro career on the Japan LPGA Tour (JLPGA) in 2019, earning JLPGA Player of the Year honors in her debut season. Since then, she has claimed six JLPGA titles, including two in 2021: the Stanley Ladies Golf Tournament and the Mitsubishi Electric Ladies Golf Tournament.
Shibuno made her international debut by winning the 2019 AIG Women’s Open in her first professional start outside of Japan. In 2024, she made 15 cuts in 25 LPGA events, and recorded two top-10 finishes, including a second-place result at the U.S. Women’s Open presented by Ally. As of the 2025 season, she has made eight cuts in 11 starts with one top-10 performance.
