Shibuno began her pro career on the Japan LPGA Tour (JLPGA) in 2019, earning JLPGA Player of the Year honors in her debut season. Since then, she has claimed six JLPGA titles, including two in 2021: the Stanley Ladies Golf Tournament and the Mitsubishi Electric Ladies Golf Tournament.
Her best result in 2026 is a T17 finish at the U.S. Women's Open presented by Ally in early June.
Shibuno made her international debut by winning the 2019 AIG Women’s Open in her first professional start outside of Japan. In 2024, she made 15 cuts in 25 LPGA events, and recorded two top-10 finishes, including a second-place result at the U.S. Women’s Open presented by Ally.
