This week, Hinako Shibuno will look to add another chapter to her Cinderella story after capturing the 2019 AIG Women’s Open in her first start on the LPGA Tour. Nicknamed ‘Smiling Cinderella,’ Shibuno stole the show and fans hearts with her effervescent personality and no holds bar style of play that in turn earned her a first major title last summer at Woburn Golf Club.

In October, the season’s second major championship, the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship will be staged at Aronimink Golf Club. Over the last five years, three players have won the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship for their first major title: Hannah Green (2019), Danielle Kang (2017) and Brooke Henderson (2016).
