KPMG Women's PGA Championship - Final Round

The depth of golf on a global scale is so deep these days that it makes it difficult to win multiple titles in a single season. To date in 2022, Minjee Lee and Jennifer Kupcho, the first two major champions of the year, are the tour's only multiple winners, and it's nearly July.

So imagine, if you will, the challenge of not only winning a single KPMG Women’s PGA, but three consecutive. That’s what Inbee Park did in winning three consecutive titles from 2013-15, securing her third in Westchester Country Club in New York. She was the No. 1 player in women’s golf at the time, winning five of 12 majors in one stretch.

“Yeah, I don't know how I did it,” Park said on Tuesday at Congressional Country Club. “If you ask me if I could do it now, I think it will be pretty impossible to do it. Back then I just – my game and everything was in great shape, and I was probably putting a lot better than what I am now today.”

Added Park, “I think every player has that moment in their career where everything seems to be going the right way, every little move is the right move. I think it was that time of my career.”
