World No. 4 Charley Hull is a three-time winner on the LPGA Tour, with her last victory coming at the 2025 Kroger Queen City Championship presented by P&G.

Her lengthy career also includes being named the 2013 Ladies European Tour Rookie of the Year and Order of Merit and Player of the Year honors in 2014.

And her game has been trending in the right direction this year, with her best result in 2026 a tie for second in the U.S. Women's Open earlier this month at Riviera Country Club in Pacific Palisades, Calif. She finished a stroke back of the winner, Nelly Korda.

“The bridesmaid strikes again 2nd place at the US Open. Not gonna lie, it stings getting that close again, but I absolutely loved the chase and being in contention this weekend, said on Instagram. “I can feel it getting closer. I keep putting myself in these positions and one of these days I’ll get the job done.”

She expanded on those comments on Wednesday at Hazeltine, the eve of the 2026 KPMG Women’s PGA Championship.

“I'm not going to lie, I was pretty tired at the end of last week. I feel like I've just recovered more… Just got to use it as positivity, really,” said Hull. “[I] feel good, feel refreshed, and ready to go again.”

Hull has played in 11 KPMG Women’s PGA Championships, with her best finish a tie for 6th in 2018 at Kemper Lakes Golf Club in Long Grove, Illinois. She missed the cut at the 2019 KPMG Women’s PGA at Hazeltine National.

“I think it is a challenging golf course, and there's birdie opportunities out there. Also, you've got the very difficult irons this week because it's narrow greens.”

The seven-time European Solheim Cup veteran is up for the challenge of Hazeltine as she makes another attempt at a maiden Major Championship.

“I got here on Sunday evening, and the golf course is really good. I felt like playing out here on Monday the greens were pretty quick. Usually in a major week, they kind of just get them quicker as the week goes on, but I felt like it's been pretty much quick from the get go.”

She plays in a featured group on Thursday and Friday, alongside Jeeno Thitikul and Gaby Lopez.
