LPGA Update: Sung Hyun Park One of Five Early Winners

 

The LPGA season is underway and through the first five events of there have been five different winners including defending KPMG Women’s PGA Champion Sung Hyun Park.

Eun-Hee Ji started the season off by capturing her fifth career win at the Diamond Resorts Tournament of Champions. The Tour then headed down under where Celine Boutier became a first-time winner at the Vic Open and Nelly Korda picked up her second win at the Women’s Australian Open.

The LPGA then moved onto Thailand and Singapore with Amy Yang winning the Honda LPGA Thailand and Park capturing the HSBC Women’s World Championship for her sixth career LPGA victory.

There are now 10 events left on the LPGA schedule prior to the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship which will take place at Hazeltine National Golf Club, in Chaska, Minnesota. Tickets for the event, which runs from June 18-23, are on sale now and can be found here.
