Fans Offered a Rare Chance to Play Alongside LPGA Tour Stars

In anticipation of the 2018 KPMG Women’s PGA Championship at Kemper Lakes Golf Club this summer, the PGA of America will offer Chicago Golf Show® attendees a rare opportunity to earn a spot to play in the official Championship Pro-Am and compete alongside the biggest stars on the LPGA Tour. Contestants must attend the Chicago Golf Show®, hosted at Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, Illinois, Feb. 23-25, and participate in the annual long putt competition to be considered for the special Championship promotion.

The KPMG Women’s PGA Championship long putt competition will take place throughout the weekend near the middle of the Convention Center. The Championship also will be represented on the show floor at a booth, where fans can see the official trophy, learn more about the Championship, register to volunteer and purchase tickets.

“Chicago has a rich tradition of hosting Championship-caliber golf with passionate golf fans,” said Jackie Endsley, championship director for the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship. “We’re excited to offer a chance for our fans to walk inside the ropes during Championship week and play alongside of the best players in women’s golf.”

Winners of the contest will be announced at the conclusion of the show and will be notified by the PGA of America. The KPMG Women’s PGA Championship Pro-Am takes place at Kemper Lakes Golf Club in Kildeer, Illinois, on Tuesday, June 26.

The event combines an annual major golf championship with the KPMG Women’s Leadership Summit and an ongoing charitable initiative called the KPMG Future Leaders Program – all focused on the development, advancement, and empowerment of women on and off the golf course.
